AND SHE IGNORES THE FACT SHE STRAIGHTENED MY HAIR WHEN I WAS 5-6 AND IT DIDNT HURT MY HAIR OR ANYTHING- AND MY HAIR IS A REALLY BIG PART OF HOW I PRESENT, AT FIRST I FELT LIKE IT WAS ONE OF THE ONLY THINGS I CAN USE TO HELP PROJECT HOW I FEEL ON THE INSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE, IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE, AND I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN MY MOM LET ME CUT IT SHORT. BUT NOW I THINK MY MOM BLAMES ME BEING NONBINARY FOR ALL THIS I WANT TO CHANGE MY HAIR STUFF, BECAUSE I'VE NEVER REALLY ASKED TO CHANGE IT LIKE THIS BEFORE. BUT EVEN THOUGH MY MOM SUPPORTS LGBTQ+, I THINK IN THE BACK OF HER MIND SHE WANTS THIS ALL TO BE ONE BIG PHASE I GO THROUGH. SHE WONT GET ME A BINDER, BECAUSE SHE SAYS I JUST NEED TO GET USED TO MY BODY, AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE WITH FEMALE HORMONES.
