![Read the description :) | So I finally have a chance to tell you all this. Pretty exciting tbh. Ok so basically I'm in the photo club at my school, and my photo teacher runs that as well. He's already referred to me in class as the "dark horse" because I'm not a loudmouth but I take "really good photos" according to him. So anyways I was sitting in photo club after school and we're working on a composition project where we have to edit 4 different photos in photoshop and then have him come over. I guess he saw that I was done because he came over on his own and he just sat down in the chair next to me and stared at me for a solid 10 seconds before I said "what's up?" He looks at me and says "[real name], how long have you been taking photos for?" And I said "ehh...*gave whole story about when I was little and when I used my parents Canon Powershot, and then how I wasn't interested for a while and it was only when I got a little Olympus camera last year at a garage sale that I started getting into it a lot more, and then how I got the Lumix camera that I use now in December of last year (2022)* He says, "Ok, because your photos look like you've been doing it for 15-20 years, your composition is awesome, your edits are amazing, etc..." I did NOT know how to react to this because this is a guy who has been taking photos his whole life and here he is telling me that my photos are this good. He kept telling me how good the stuff I did was and I showed him even more photos that I took and he loved them. Even though we were supposed to print 1 photo for the project he said to me "Now I almost never tell anyone this, but print all 4 of them. You need to build up your portfolio. I think this is your thing" He also told me that he really wants me as an officer for the photo club next year (president, vice president, treasurer, etc...) So I'm really happy about this whole thing. Oh yeah one more thing, you know the apple photo that I had posted in Shareyourownphotos a week or two ago?
