It’s the outward performance of democracy without any of the spirit. America’s Founders warned against that way of thinking — and they passed the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution (the “Bill of Rights”), which restrain any elected government from acting against the people in certain ways. RUP’s Constitution has been amended many times without meaningful debate by a rubber-stamp Congress that changes it whenever it gets in their way. But for some reason, they never found the time to enumerate a Bill of Rights that would have limited their own power to act against citizens.
