you probably summon him every
month now and again to start up
some tomfoolery by teleporting to

nauseam for shits-&-giggles
whenever you get bored. I
remember your Stolas-stanning
days quite vividly.

Vesper: Actually, I summoned him
only once.

Simo: Did things suddenly go bad
or something between you two?

Vesper: No, it's actually going
really well. I summoned him only
once because once I summoned
him, he never left. Hasn't left and
stayed on Earth for the last two
years!

looking puzzled* That's quite odd -
I thought demons hated staying on
Earth with humans for long
stretches of time. You told me
once they like to stay in the dark.

Vesper: Oh, I know. So I just keep
my house very dark and gave him
a wide-brimmed sun-hat to wear
in case he needs to go outside in
daylight.

Simo: Wait a minute, you live
with Stolas now?!

Vesper: More than that - we're
actually passionately in love!
We've been dating for the past
two years back home in Alabama,
and we sometimes use portal-
magic to visit Hell so he could
introduce me to his family and
recharge his magical batteries~

menacingly-cute furry demons
and all! It's just like Las Vegas -

too. You should visit us sometime
in Stolas' Palace when you get
the chance - don't worry about
security or anything like
that; it's very safe and secure and
highly-fortified in his Palace. Also,
I tell him about you - he admires
your genius-level intelligence
and your tech-savviness, even
though you're openly Roman-
Catholic - he respects you as
long as you don't press your
beliefs on him. Plus, since he
knows that you and me are good
friends and that you are really nice
and wonderful to me despite our
differences, he wanted me to ask
you a question.

Simo: *struggling to comprehend
what Vesper just told him at-length,
but not wanting to look disrespectful
to his skulldog-friend considering that
Stolas the Goetial Bird-Demon
is aware of him existing and
could smite him for any potential
disrespect towards Vesper* Uh, sure
- what'd he ask?

Vesper: *smiling very happily* Would you
like to be the Best Man in me and
Stolas' wedding? We're getting married
in June! Plus, he'd really like to meet
you and Kendle too!

Simo: *accidentally spills his coffee in
innate shock, his eyes as big as pie-
plates* …

Vesper: Pleeeeaaaaassseeee?

Simo: Well, you did give me a
crash-course in Defense Against
The Dark Arts and also Demonology
over a Zoom call that one time and
you did help me out a lot in making
that BFG 9000 laser-cannon for use
against demons in case some DOOM-
like scenario happens in the future,
so I guess I owe you quite a few
favors (and several cases of soda).
So why not? What are friends for?

Simo! I can't wait to tell Stolas
the good news! I'll send you an
invite for the wedding in May
and you can meet Stolas in a few

sweet and charming, just like

probably wondering where I
am and is likely feeling lonely
in the house all alone, kept in
the dark so he doesn't get burnt
by the sunlight. It was
wonderful catching up with you,
I missed hanging out with you
over these past five years -
I'd invite you over to my
house in Alabama so you
can see him right now but
my teleportation-spell sadly
works only for one person
right now and I've got to work
on it more before I can safely
teleport multiple people, and
I gotta get home and love
my beautiful eldritch-bird
prince! I've already conjured
the money to cover the costs
of the coffee and snacks; it's

for the past three months at
Spottacus' behest, smiling warmly
the entire walk home, happy
that his gay skulldog-witch friend
has finally found the love of his life
at last*
