Must be common core math. 2+2=5 according to common core, so long as you prove how you came to the conclusion. If they had common core when I was a kid, I would have made arguments that everything was meaningless, and anything + anything = nothing. I love debating, I should have been a lawyer....

This isn't just high school. It's college, too. Showing your work is a good thing.
