Nice show of class. When you're all grown and you start to find there are victims close to your home I want you to remember your attitude here. Maybe it will be your wife or girlfriend who drinks away your family because she has never dealt with it properly or perhaps your daughter, who it was your only job to protect. I'm not wishing this on anyone, but the odds are that right now there is someone close to you that is dealing with a rape that you do not know about.
I know a guy that got very drunk... unable to protect his wife from an assault. . Attempted suicide. Did not think of it til I saw your comment and realized the many levels of trauma and victims in a rape.
It's estimated that 1 in 5 women in this country has been raped. Most of us have 5 females in our life that we care about. Odds are that one of them has been raped. The vast majority go unreported or even unmentioned.
