Lol. I'm kidding! This is a pretty elaborate meme there, Einstein! How long did it take? You see the one I made? Lol

I got the idea a week or so ago (whenever the Godzilla and Titanic movies backwards got hot), but I kept putting off actually making it because I was too lazy to do it lol! :)

Lol. I like it, it's cool! But from the work I did on the meme you just saw, I looked at yours and went "Damn!" Lol

It actually didn't take an insane amount of time. I made the four in the middle in advance and saved them, then used the Add Image feature to put them all in a line with Shrek and Y U No guy at the top and bottom.

The hardest part was planning the order, and deciding how many panels would be right. That and the fact that I had to start over when I accidentally hit a key while creating the meme that left the page and made me have to start over!

Oh, I see! How many text lines did you have? Had to quite a few because of your two color use in the top line of each panel?

Ok what's my penalty? There has to be a penalty for writing that many paragraphs in reply to a simple question! Lol :)

Actually no, there is no penalty, only praise! On a iPad it is not easy at all to move those text boxes, or to change their size! That meme I made "ImgFlip football" to move the boxes around and change their size took a while, believe it or not! I don't have a mouse, my screen isn't big, especially when I have to use my thumbs and fingers to move it! And touch screens don't always "feel" where your fingers are, there is a big enough % of error that it really makes stuff hard for me. Great job on that meme, sincerely! :)

Yes, that's right! The only way I know how to do colored text like that is by putting in a new textbox and dragging it over the other one.

Most of the premade memes had 3 text lines (top and bottom plus one for color). The Star Wars one already had the words on it because it was a saved image from a meme I made last year, so I just needed 2 new text lines (one to put in the colored title, and one to put a period on the end of the bottom caption to make the punctuation consistent with the other memes in the chain).

Then when I was making the meme chain itself, I put in 3 new text lines up top and bottom, for the captions and colors (3 for Shrek, 3 for Y U No guy).

So all the memes in the chain together have either 17 or 19 text lines (depending on whether you count the text lines for the original Star Wars meme I made months ago or not).

But because of the way I did it, making the 4 middle memes first then saving them, the last generated version only has 6 new text lines.

That really long kermit vs connery one I did had to be restarted, I've gotten where I will save the image after each panel is complete in case I mess something up further down the line. Has saved my butt on some of the longer memes ;)

Ive tried making long memes with texts boxes for every pic. But backspaced and lost the whole thing several times. I quit trying after the third time.

Did you see Jying's comment, where he saves the image as he goes? It seemed like a reasonable idea - that way if you lose your work you can just re-upload the picture from the last save and keep going.
