My guess is a moderator did not approve this because it's merely stating a subjective opinion and hoping to get upvotes because people agree with it. As far as we're concerned, we don't care what opinions you hold (as long as they're legal etc.), but we're actively trying to feature images that are creative/interesting/funny/new/etc, as described in the submission guidelines. This opinion has been stated billions of times on each side of the argument, and each side will continue to just say "no you're wrong" to the other side, and it's just not the type of thing we want on Imgflip. There are plenty of places you can find on the internet to have a raging debate about politics or religion, and some of that will certainly happen on Imgflip, but we're not actively trying to make it happen.

If the meme were submitted as just a celebration of life.. and the tagline did not have "pro-choice".. would it get approved? I see your point.. I'm just wondering what was the flag. since there are so many subjects that could be debated .. a strict standard by the mods would almost eliminate current events etc. Many of my memes have social or political themes.. but based on current events mostly.. and as you can see.. soar in popularity. I can honestly say.. most of the debates in reference to memes are done respectfully. There will be a few who push the envelope.. but I think they have been weeded out and ignored by the overall good users. Troll comments meant to inflame are easy to spot by their new acct status.. and now I am aware of CTS efforts and spot them too. But the debated I see on memes.. all appear mostly respectful. This is a reflection of the mostly good users and examples I see set by top users I think.

Any insight from you is helpful. I appreciate it. I will change the tagline if you think that was the flag. 99% of my memes don't have one anyway.. ;)

I think it's cool that he took the time to give you some feedback about what the mods are looking for in memes and what they aren't. It's helpful to know.

It was,... I think hundreds of memes are subjective opinions,... not sure how that works yet. . .so it's helpful,.. but not "clear". I see a lot of anti-gun memes,... pro-gun memes,.. that would all fall under that cat,... but still get featured.

How can an opinion be illegal? And this sounds more like the mods just disagree with Invicta's opinions, not that they're trying to keep only the "good" memes. Which shows that Imgflip is biased. :{

I was referring to the subject matter of an opinion, not the act of having the opinion.
