I've seen this guy around on the site before, he doesn't seem stupid enough to believe that carrots can feel, and usually if someone is making a serious comment, they don't do it in meme form

Yeah, it may've done me some good to look into his background. Then again, a lot of supposedly intelligent people believe in stupid things. Communism, thinking there's no link between dairy and CDV, thinking Hillary Clinton would be a functional president, thinking slavery was more persistent in the US than anywhere else, thinking affirmative action works, thinking Mike Birbiglia is funny, believing in religion, the list goes on for quite a while.

Yeah, not when comparing the lives of plants to the lives of animals. When I go onstage and compare the lives of animals to the lives of people though, I get to tell my audience exactly what you told me. Not really, though, because my bit about the Holocaust survivor learning nothing because he was treated like livestock for 2 years and the first thing he does with his freedom is eat livestock--- that bit doesn't do so bad.
