Fun fact: the "x" in "FedEx" used to be bigger (as were the "e" and the "d"). FedEx wanted to improve the logo to give it more meaning, and someone came up with the idea of matching the size up to create the arrow, a symbol of moving forward. It's been a while since they made the change, but it was so subtle, I honestly never noticed it until several years later when I happened on it in a Google search. It's a neat little easter egg of sorts -- a prime example of actual (and positive) subliminal messaging at it's finest.
