May I have some free upvotes? None of my memes get looked at and I haven't gotten a front page feature since I got here, 8 months ago.

try posting your meme as a link in a comment then submitting it, people will be taken to your meme and might comment or like/dislike

But then people will get onto me for "advertising" or some crap.

I just don't see how posting the link helps.

posting the link in the comment section of a front page meme makes people click on it to see what it is, boosting the amount of views you have. it also allows the chance of people commenting to it, the combination gives you a featured meme. ^this meme was featured that way.

That doesn't mean they'll upvote it. Views=/=Points. Upvotes==Points. Get it?

upvotes are up to chance mostly but im pretty sure that you would get memes upvoted every now and then. its pretty much an 80% chance you get an upvote around here, increased by my new army lol

Because if everyone gets upvotes for no reason...what value do they hold? Upvotes should be for good memes...not EVERY meme...same for downvotes for bad memes...not EVERY meme.

I'm not...we all should vote based on quality ...up or down. you sho I don't just upvote blindly. It devalues the system.
