This reminds me of the whole 'salem witch trials' argument atheists always brought up against Christianity on a global scale.
A negligible number of persecutions (almost entirely against women instigated by other women by the way...) in a fraction of a single state 200 years ago, brought up as a primary argument indefinitely against a religion spanning 190 countries over 2000 thousand years with 2 billion followers...
This is the equivalent.
Several dozen unarmed people rioted in a single congressional building for 3 hours and now its front and centre of every single argument against everyone on the right forever.
Any yet, if this standard was applied to absolutely any other group anywhere ever you'd almost certainly have an argument for its complete instant eradication following the logic, given how almost every other side has 50x the examples minimum.. like democrats
