News flash a infant is classified as a baby that has lived a day, and has a documented live birth. A fetus is staged in weeks, and if removed is not documented as a live birth, therefore did not reach infancy.

What about the embryos in ivf facilities? Most abortions occur before a fetus is present and the stage is a in a zygote.
