Perhaps if they prayed for a change of heart in those who seek to destroy us and our way of life and the lives of others throughout the world simply so they can stick their name on yet another building.

There are more important things in this world than boosting Church attendance for the benefit of the collection plate and the hypocrite that will utilize it the stuff his pockets with.

And yet for over 1500 years most First World nations that stand as a beacon of Human Rights and dignity had majority Christian populations while the Islamic world today is a nightmare of inhumane treatment of women and children and even slavery.
Atheism practiced in Communist China is AT LEAST as bad.

1500 years? That beacon of human rights and dignity is a President Harry S Truman invention which has existed a mere eight decades out of that millennia and a half.

Prior to that, it was select Christian Europeans that trampled the world and massacred populations throughout the world including their very own neighbors in Europe in the name of riches. It was the pinnacle of this European development that nearly wiped out everybody else who wasn't a German Protestant.
