It all goes to Southern Medicaid and welfare recipients? It goes to everything. Fact is that before FDR came along, they didn't even have proper streets, never mind electricity and running water.
Food Stamps were invented because Kennedy or whatever took a trip to in the 1960s and saw all these poor half-starved people with no shoes living in log cabins. They were still stuck in the Little House on the Prairie days, only not as pretty and no Pa Ingalls to come and save the day.
Last year I saw a map on TwitterX where the West Coast, Northeast, and the Northern Midwest (at least the states with buildings higher than two stories) actually separated and joined Canada. Now if you ever told me that any year before, I would have said heck naw. But it's like the comments were saying just like you did, instead of wasting money on the dustbin States, better with us and Canada.
Also some comment I saw back then on Reddit, where somebody said good if the South wants to separate again, this way we in the North can keep our money instead of wasting it on them.
