Catholic here. As I understand it, this is a seemingly protestant dominated stream. Please do not formulate your opinion of Catholics based on this troubled person.
Knives are weapons too? But most knives are used for:
-Hunting
-Cooking/food preparation
-Display
-Creativity (ie forging and creating knives.
Guns are used for hunting, for recreation and for display as well. As an Aussie, I do believe your country's gun rights are...brave. I do believe owning a gun is a privilege. Not that guns shouldn't be owned privately, that your laws should be stricter. Of course the average Joe should be allowed to own a gun. To defend his family, to shoot targets, whatever. Someone with a criminal record consisting of armed robbery, murder, etc? Absolutely not.
Sex is the same as gender. It is a synonym. Let's say your a more feminine man. Maybe your voice is a higher pitch. Maybe you love reality TV shows. These traits, according to our society might be considered feminine. BUT! "There are 2 genders and infinite personalities." -Charlie Kirk. What Mr Kirk God rest his soul is saying is your personality and who you are might be considered more feminine than masculine but that doesn't change the fact that you are a man and a male. Same goes for women too.
