Man they were a scam back in the 80s when I attended. I could have gone into the military for 20 years, retired with a full military pension and learned a trade like Gunsmithing THEN attended college.
But I listened to teachers and struggled in minimum wage jobs for years before giving my chosen profession a 2nd shot.
