I think EVs are horrible for the environment in terms of the lithium pit mines dug to make their batteries. The electric power still mainly comes from fossil fuels too. I dislike EV's for different reasons than the power grid.

With current technology, renewables don't produce enough energy and are unreliable. When ideas don't match the facts, you need to re-evaluate your ideas.

Fossil fuels came from the sun. Only nuclear is not solar. It's a stupid question. Why did you ask it? With current technology, renewables don't produce enough energy and are unreliable.

So make more renewable energy. Trump gutted clean energy and funded fossil fuel powered electrical grids. So a lot of electricity used to power EVS comes from fossil fuels. And when data centers use more fossil fuels, the cost of the fuel used to make EVs goes up.

Does anyone remember the push for EVs? It's like it never happened. What about Biden's EV subsidies and tax credits? Am I the only one who remembers?

Biden's Green New Deal was mostly a green new scam. How much was spent on EV stations? How many EV trucks did Ford have in stock before they stopped making them? Do the research. I don't always agree with Trump, but he was right to shut down Biden's stupid, wasteful programs.
