It had better of been 99% private funded....its a sporting event....sanctioned by INDY.

No offense to Indycar, but the track layout was absolute shit. It was just Lime Rock Park minus the elevation.

I didn't just hate it because it was a sellout move to our president, I hated it because the track layout was uninspired

Legitimate reason to be miffed, not enough to hate

I didn't even watch, I was too busy watching Josh Berry's pit crew screw him out of a win in the real American motorsport

You mean the motorsport that is TRYING to get back up after finally admitting a bracket playoff system in a sport like NASCAR doesn't work? I have hated NASCAR because of its non-year in points total system since the day I learned of it. Not to mention the stupid stages and mandated cautions that slow the race down, disencourage pit strategy, and furtherprove NASCAR still has their thumbs in the pie and won't take them out. Indycar is better in basically every way

Even as a hardcore Indycar fan, that is a terrible track layout. Not much they could've done about it, though

But they didn’t gripe when it was in California 🙄
