They're admitting it, but thinly veiling it, to give the superficial impression that they are unaware, but at the same time with that kind of sneer like when somebody looks you in the corner of their eye and admits to something but won't say it out loud so everyone else can hear it.
What people don't understand is, it's not a matter of perception of what is good or evil - they're in line with everybody else, it's just that they actually like it. Trump is not deceiving them, he's giving them exactly what they want. They like the chaos, they like the destruction, they like the fascism, they like the nazism. That is what they are, and what they were before he came along. That's why he went from perennial clown to their hero overnight, he started telling them what they've been waiting for years to hear.
