So they have been here 20 years illegally. If they had started the legal process 20 years ago, they could be a citizen by now. Anyone who came here illegally knew they were doing so, accept the responsibility, and fully owned the consequences. They came here with no guarantee ever of citizenship or being allowed to stay. Count your blessings and leave.
