The reason God hasn't destroyed San Francisco or any of the other LGBTQ+ population centers is because LGBTQ+ people aren't as prevalent as they want you to think they are. Only 7-10% of the world's population claims to be LGBTQ+.
I don't think they're more than one percent max. I once lived in a city. 3rd largest in the state. It had 2 occult bookstores catering to the pagan community (which I was part of). But it couldn't support 1 gay bar. There's more pagans in America than gays. There's more Native American Indians than gays. But you'd never know it from watching TV.
After the Gifted got canceled on Fox it was over a decade until another American Indian character was a regular on TV. Natives are 3% of the population.
The major pagan book publishers commissioned a study that found 10% of the population was Pagan. I've seen that. Even rural communities have pagans.
But the math ain't there for the Rainbow Tribe being more than 1% of the population.
There was the obvious but it was MUCH, MUCH worse than what Genesis describes. It was so bad God literally got up from His Throne and came to Earth incognito to see for Himself in a 'seeing is believing/I have to see to it for myself' moment.
