When some animals are frightened, dogs for instance, they bark and snarl: even bite passers-by. It's instinctual. Fear and combined with hatred reduces the ability for rational thought and overrides shallow, even surface level ingrained civil norms. We are older than many (well,l I am anyway:) ) and younger than others and I remember the riots of the 60's. Many newspapers at the time discussed "mob mentality" where individual thought becomes of little importance to the collective and the bull of the "mob" can sometimes fall into what was once referred to as berserker mode where destruction is the only goal. Because of internet, in part, this is manifesting in greater numbers all the time due to the members of the collective developing a giant feedback loop. Few inside the mob come to their senses: either from sheer exhaustion or they run out of people and things to destroy. There's always things to destroy and always those that won't join the collective that threaten the mob mind. Cries of support for communism, socialism, Marxism are increasing all the time. Throughout the millenia, we have seen how systems such as these have been vehicles of destruction. Lives destroyed, cities, civilizations. Anarchy is the end game. Too many believe, or say they do, that it's the "rules" fault they can't get ahead, do what they want. The global elite are quick to pour Molotov cocktails on the flames. They, the mob, chafe at rules that hold them accountable. They hate people that hold them accountable.
