I would, back in the 70's my geography teacher told us we are in a warm inter glacial and that ice ages happen on a roughly 10-12 thousand year cycle

You have mini ice ages every few hundred years. Imagine a glass being sloshed around then left alone. The water goes up one side then down then up the other, losing momentum each time.

The hole in the ozone layer was an actual problem and we worked to try to fix it. And yes, global average temperatures are increasing. Climate scientists agree on that.
