Then why do conservatives and realpolitics exist?

If you post only where nobody disagrees with you then it doesn't spark the debate and thinking that politics is for.

Check out Real_Politics! That's where the right-wing trolls go to complain.

Completely safe from outside intrusion, nothing but 100% Trumpers allowed. Even new members to the site are blocked as soon as they get wind of them before even having a chance to comment on that stream.

Sounds exactly like the p2 site, so it’s okay as long as it’s your side doing it I guess

My side is imgflip.com/m/politics3, imgflip.com/m/Politics_Redux (which I mod), and sometimes imgflip.com/m/IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS (which I also mod) - which isn't a politics stream but basically has gone dead and has become a dumping ground for assorted etceteras.

Those are the only streams I post Politics on. I don't even post it on this, the main politics stream which used to be the Main site stream back before it was divided into Fun and Politics back in 2018.

If you got a problem with that, then that's fine with me.
0 ups, 3w
I neglected to mention that Politics_Redux and politics3 were actually abandoned streams, with p3 currently a bit more active and PR mainly just me but not only.

Yep, I'm proud to say I'm banned. If someone needs to meet their daily quota of troll farm memes, they can do so there. I don't think it has any limit to the number of memes someone can submit in a day.

Alas, other than some quick high-fiving, doesn't seem to be much activity comment-wise on those memes though.

I noticed that. That's why they all prefer the politics stream. It gets pretty boring if all you do is high-five your fellow commenters.

They act like they're on the warpath, trying to chase out those not part of the club.
Then they complain about how their echo chamber is in decline and where did everybody go.

I wonder who they take their orders from. Everyday they all target the same politicians - the last two days it's AOC. Before that Ilhan Omar. I think Tim Walz is the latest.

I love seeing two or three different memes with the exact same lines which are usually obscure quotes which the general public hasn't heard.

These gents may not be exceedingly knowledgeable about all matters, but they sure seem pretty adept at scouring for every single thing AOC says on a daily basis. Now that's dedication.

I think they get a daily memo from the Internet Research Agency with the talking points needed to make their memes.
3 ups, 4w
Exactly that.

Even if they were mining, say, some Facebook or Instagram page, I doubt so many could be coming up with the same idea all the same time, only to suddenly switch to another theme all together days later.

They also come up with the same arguments and deflections when some big news comes out, like Trump in the Epstein Files or the sputtering Iran War.

There's just too much consistency, even with the really out there stuff.

No. You're limited to 2 submissions on Politics. You can submit more on Real _ Politics. On a slow day I'll do a dozen memes that are either new or heavily modified.

A dozen memes on a slow day? Doesn't where you live provide anything more appealing to do?

It doesn't provide Rachel Maddow. Life without her may prove difficult for her fandom,,,

He spends hours making memes to post on Real_Politics. The Left doesn't get high numbers of views on politics, but the views on Real_Politics is pathetic, and that's a stream only for the Right.
Let's spend an hour making a meme for a whopping 30 views after 3 days.

Not to mention, we get 20 points each for up to 4 memes we submit to a stream a day.
But only the first 2 we submit to each stream tallies additional points from upvotes.

So I hope he's doing it just for art of it.

I agree! Make memes for the art of it, not to get paid for doing it. No paid shills allowed on imgflip!

Good, nice to see him sweating for a change,,,
1 up, 3w
Yeah, in clusters like 4 or 6 or so too. Then I look at their profile and see but that's all they were posting, like they went searching for comments of mine to respond to and nothing else. Like, take a breath already and relax, find something else to add to the pile that isn't just me. They're their own worst enemies.

I heard the other week that Putin hasn't been seen by the public lately, and that he might be on the run because Russian dissatisfaction is turning them hostile against him?

But it was one of those "Coming up next on the news" and I changed the channel before next came up because next always ends up being hours away anyways and blah blah blah, so I don't know what the deal is there.

Russia's all depleted soldiers and weapons-wise too.
Ukraine wore them out.

Wonder if Capt Bone Spurs is paying attention?
1 up, 3w
Yeah, I saw similar reports. Putin doesn't go to his own homes anymore, he spends his time in underground bunkers. He installed surveillance systems in the homes of his staff.
His staff is forbidden to use the internet, mobile-phones, or even ride public transportation.

Ukraine's high-tech drones and robots are really having an impact. Striking deep inside Russia and even in Moscow.

Yeah thank goodness the Elon took that feature offline for a few weeks for 'repairs' to give them all a chance to 'relocate' to Muh'Merica,,,

I used to suffer from a bad case of Have-have-the-last-word-itis, at least for those who went too far.

But then I realized, what is it all for, who cares, what is there to be gotten from this? All that just to be forgotten a few days later, what's the gain? Plus do I really have the time to waste on that?

No maybe I'll work them up some if I feel they need to increase their level of irritation, then I leave them hanging. Leave them hanging actually bothers them more than indulging them in an extended game of ping pong anyways.
1 up, 3w
You know they're irritated when suddenly you get comments from the same troll on memes you made days or even weeks ago.

Yeah, right after the TwitterX user home country reveal, Ruskie went missing for a few weeks, and Shadow disappeared a couple of days after, also coming back a couple of days after Ruskie did.

But already 2 months now, perhaps budget cuts on account of the war effort over there, and his contract got chopped.
1 up, 3w
Now Ruskie makes sure his posted X links always have United States as the Country of Origin. Must have been a lot of work to get new VPNs to hide the real IP Addresses for all the trolls.
1 up, 3w
Moscow's Victory Day Parade this year was a joke! Putin looked like a corpse. Ukraine is winning the war! More hard times for Russians.
1 up, 3w
Found a MAGA link he posted before the TwitterX user home country reveal.

I actually guessed who made it, went to that profile, looked, and there it was.

Talk about endless hours - imagine posting on every single meme fresh out the chute, then coming back later just to check what anybody else might have posted or if the comment got low rated so they can go redo it, and repeat, over and over and over again.

On occasion I actually reply to a notification from that one, just to make them come back to the meme yet again. Because I like adding a little excitement in others' lives. sometimes.

Have you noticed that one's shadow has been MIA for 2 months?
1 up, 3w
People like that can't stand it if someone gets the last word. A person who refuses to allow another person the last word is often driven by a deep-seated need for ego protection.

I can't imagine spending 18 hours a day on a meme site. They need to get a life!
1 up, 3w
It probably has something to do with the fact that this is the primary politics stream on this website
3 ups, 4w
They get tired of their echo chamber sometimes.
0 ups, 3w
So the main politics stream is just a Real_Politics to you?
No this stream is a debate source not an echo chamber of conservatism.
0 ups, 3w
If you post only where nobody disagrees with you then it doesn't spark the debate and thinking that politics is for.

Stop it 🤣🤣🤣
