That is true, I have changed careers many times. Now I need nothing and have skills to barter with of things get bad enough to need it.

Too many are ill equipped to exist outside of a well maintained civilized society. Unable to change a tire, cook a meal from scratch, plant, nurture, and harvest a garden.or bring themselves to perform anything they feel they will always somehow be okay in not knowing how to do.

People who want to give back to society bad enough will give back any way they can, regardless of whether others classify that way as "menial" or any other derogatory term.
