You may have already forgotten Trump shared a video on "Truth" Social depicting himself in a crown flying a fighter jet labeled "King Trump," which dumps materials on protesters. Hmmm.
Here's why these protests happened and will continue to be held:
1) Military action without clear congressional authorization. (The Constitution gives Congress war powers; acting unilaterally resembles executive overreach.) For those unfamiliar with our constitution, Article I, Section 8 clarifies that only Congress has the power to formally declare war. But glad to know that you are pro-Israel!
2) Heavy reliance on executive power / orders (Executive orders are legal, but overuse for major policy shifts is straight up bypassing the legislative branch.)
3) Immigration enforcement crackdowns (ICE operations) reflects unchecked federal force and reduced civil protections.
4) Mass firing of federal workers is consolidating executive control over government institutions and reducing internal dissent.
5) Perceived attacks on democratic institutions (judiciary, pressuring the FED chair aka bullying the federal reserve, paramount hostility toward the press)
6) Handling of elections / voting concerns (perceived undermining of elections triggers “anti-democratic” accusations.)
7) Federal force & protest response concerns (Use of force against protests is straight up suppressing dissent.)
Oh and remember Trumps large military parade in Washington, D.C. that resembled Kim Jong Uns'?
OBVIOUSLY, none of this means the U.S. is literally a monarchy.
These are symbolic events if you can understand that much.
