Idk, I can't look at what is happening behind the curtains. Both could be the case, as far as I know ICE and how humane some humans can be, it's about a 50/50 chance.

I highly doubt a 5 year old is in any type of jail, I'm sure wherever he's at is a secure location, but jail treatment I'd find hard to believe.

When I don't know I just ASSume and run with it, present it as fact same as the "news" does, and then push my narrative until "polls say" I'm correct. But I think I heard a blurb saying the kid is now in jail with his father (who abandoned him) in order to keep them together but I was busy with other things and may have misheard.

But I guess it sounds good enough to run with, leftists will be happy they can say ICE locked the kid up, and Oscar Meyer will be happy knowing they're both eating Bologna sandwiches for dinner.

Sounds plausible, what is it you're worried about, the kid being used as bait, flying them 1200 miles to a family detention center, ignoring pleas from neighbors to watch the kid, or all of the above?

As for me I'm about tired of anchor baby syndrome and the crocodile tears of people when a kid is involved. Why was it OK for Clinton to send Elian Gonzales back to Cuba when there were people here willing to raise him, but it's not OK for Trump to do basically the same thing?

If the pleas of those American adult family members were ignored, it goes against what was previously stated. The child would not have been ABANDONED, as some claim. That is my beef!

Yeah but the dad dropped him like a hot potato showing how much concern he had, if there were legal family members willing to take care of him he should have been left with them, but that's another reason I have such distrust of the "news" they only report what they want everyone to hear, they never give us the full facts on anything.

I remember when I was a kid it made me mad when football ran over into 60 Minutes, but as I started noticing how they weren't in competition with each other and instead were in collusion with each other it felt alot like a husband who's caught his wife cheating on him.

It used to be you'd hear things like "you heard it here first", as one paper or network "got the scoop" and broke it, showing how they were the ones you should buy or tune into if you wanted the truth. But instead all they were was the propaganda arm of the democrat party, and the Pretorian gaurd of the deep state.

But I know all it takes is one blatant lie or cover up someone catches them in to make them rethink any trust they previously had, and is a good reason why these days the "news" has an approval rating lower than IRS agents and for that I'm happy, and if I've had a small part in it I'm even happier.

Although I am a conservative now, when I was still a democrat it struck me just how corrupt the media outlets had become even back then when after fighting G.W. Bush with everything they could fling at him they did a 180 degree reversal and endorsed his invasion of Afghanistan as soon as he offered them embedded reporting slots. That was my epiphany moment.
