No alternative, cos God supposedly knew everyone's inner soul. So Hell was simply the place Satan and demons hung out. What kept me on my toes instead of threat, was disappointing him through bad actions towards others. I didn't like his sadness for this person's suffering that I'd caused

You are looking at it all wrong, Hell is the absence of God. Sinners do not die and enter Heaven because they can't be in the presence of the most high. Hell and Heaven both have rules to enter, some people just doom themselves.

Yeah yeah, details of religion wasn't what made me atheist. You can turn it into what ever you want, depending on your fav preacher, so there's enough flexibility (was first agnostic for years)

I have watched enough people die that I will tell you that unless it is a controlled hospital death were they passed drugged up and never wake up they can have a few brief seconds to see their fate. I have seen them raise their arms, smile and reach toward heaven and seen pure fear. One went out screaming about being on fire.

Still, I am not here to preach, it's not my calling, my job, or in my skill set. Enjoy your life it sounds like this is the best you will get.

Thank you for sharing those details. Share them more often. You are much more likely to lead people to God than me and to get rewards in Heaven than me based on your experience.

Thank you but my own wakeup call was a single word whispered in my ear "stop" saved my life. I remember looking around to see who was close enough to have warned me, but no one was close.

I have told non-believers about people seeing their fate, but I don't expect them to believe just me. What I tell them is talk to medical professionals, almost all of the ones I have talked with have a story proving life after this one.

Great advice. I have a lot of respect for people in the medical field.
