Oil is only part of it. But it is NOT oil for the US because we are producing our own oil... again (no thanks to Biden for stupidly making us dependent on foreign again).
It was all about limiting the amount of oil that China was buying from Venezuela. It is not to cripple transportation, it is to cripple electrical production so that China's race to become the AI giant is thwarted.
For the first time since Reagan we have a president who is actually NOT trying to facilitate the demise of the American economy. Trump is the anti-Soros. Soros wants the "managed decline", because he's evil and Trump wants to make America great again, not just a slogan but an actuality. Far too many politicians in both parties have been working hard to weaken the dollar and the US's position in the world. Liberals think this is fairness, the Republicans involved in this are keeping their mouths shut.
Liberals do not understand fairness. What is fair about making everyone, including the poor, poorer?
