It turns out an old friend of mine went to some kind of a celebrity dinner. My friend is not a celebrity, he doesn't even work in the entertainment industry, He and his wife were seated at the table as Mrs Reiner. He said that she was one of the nicest people he has ever met.

My friend is a conservative.

I would have imagined that the Reiner's would have tried everything they could think of to help their son. But drugs controlled his life.

Occasionally Trump will say something he shouldn't and I think this is one of those times.

Glenn Beck (not a politician but a conservative commentator who has gotten to be somewhat of a friend on a personal level to Trump) was much more respectful about the Reiners. He thanked Rob for all of the great movies he's been involved in.

I never thought much one way or another about Rob Reiner. I thought The Princess Bride was a brilliant movie. Although I'm younger than Rob, I preferred his dad's comedy over Rob's. Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks together were comic genius. But Rob was behind some incredibly good movies. Some of the better movies in all of Hollywood.
