If you identify as a Christian... you need to stop. Because one of the core tenants of Christianity is to feed the hungry and care for the poor. I can cite those versus from the Bible for you. And the ones where Christ said to go and heal others with no expectations of repayment.

But I won't because we both know you won't do what your God expressly told you to do.

And if you're not willing to do what your God clearly told you to do, are you a follower? I would say that you're not.

Most of the SNAP benefits people are below the poverty line and need help. This is why people say Elon should pay more of something people that comment and say they’re lazy are lazy compared to those people. I can’t imagine taking triple shifts and trying to feed a family.

Some families have severely disabled children that are a full time job, and have to choose taking care of their child over working, and living off of hopefully one high wage earned worker in the family if they are lucky. If not the figure it out but try to take the help where they can get it. Even food lines are asking for income information and or food stamp information. I say if anyone qualifies for Medicade for any reason they should automatically qualify for SNAP, and energy assistance. That's just my belief though.

That makes sense, no parent should ever have to choose work over there kid they should be making enough that they can stay home and take care of the kid. Maybe instead of restricting snap and Medicare we should increase it.

So... just so I'm clear, what you feel this passage means that if you don't mean giving to the poor from the heart, you shouldn't do it?
