Pretty much. CNN meant for Scott Jennings to be a token and essentially toothless conservative presence who would easily be plowed under by brilliant leftist rhetoric and instead he routinely plows under slow witted leftist 'journalists' and 'guests' as a matter of course . . . thus massively boosting viewership whenever he appears.

I have to be honest here; I didn't know CNN was still on the air. The viewership must be lower than an obama promise.

CNN's ratings are very low. Currently, they average about 150K - 200K in the key (24-50) demo. In fact, before Covid, CNN's ratings were so low, they were falling off Nielsen's Top 20 cable channel report. During Covid, CNN's ratings skyrockets and have been on a slow decline again.

What's the cancelation number for an average TV show?
1 up, 7h
well, prior to social media and streaming media, network and cable shows were in danger of being cancelled when their viewership dropped below 1 million viewers. Since the advent of streaming media, those standards have been lowered to now shows with 50K - 350K in the key demographic (24-50) are typically cancelled.

In CNN's case, those numbers are their primetime numbers, which is a big reason CNN is undergoing major org changes and content changes, because they've lost millions in add revenue per show.
