It doesn’t even have to be the same ethnic group; I just think some cultures are more compatible than others. For instance, Syrians in general are gonna have more in common with Greeks than with Swedes, and in Syrian Christians are more similar to Greeks than Syrian Muslims in turn.

I wasn’t even talking about the economic aspect; I was referring more to these kinds of people who insist on living in places where a) they don’t have any meaningful connection with people around them, and b) they refuse to build support those like them who also came over in a meaningful way. Like, what do Muslim immigrants in Sweden who don’t ever plan to integrate into its culture expect will happen to them in the long run? They may have been able to live off of welfare for a few years, but with the backlash against their culture that’s been growing for a while now it seems like a lot of them have set themselves and their children up for long-term failure.

Immigrants come here specifically to get money and housing. Dems were giving it to them. It's all caught on video and on record. New York FA and SNA. CalFresh. Section 8, and tax funded vouchers.
My beef isn't with immigrants. It's with illegal immigrants. They use resources without paying taxes, they increase premiums and hospital costs because they don't pay for hospital services. They change congressional seat apportionments by census.

How about addressing the fact that the IRA bill from 2022 gave the ELDERLY AND DISABLED premium tax credits on Obamacare that doesn't expire until December 2025 (so there hasn't been a REASON to include it in a CR before now - before you say some stupid nonsense about it not being included before)?

You only cite two small things. The money to Argentina has nothing to do with "rich people " it was money allocated by congress. Also if the price of housing and therefore the profit margin becomes desirable, rich people will start making homes again.
You don't seem to understand the facts about elderly and disabled the only people being affected are those that can work. Until you understand this point nothing I say will get through to you.
None of what you mentioned is affected by the continuation of government cr. Everything will continue as it is for 3 more months if the dems sign it. Then you can negotiate instead of holding it over the Republicans heads.
This is what's going to happen. The Republicans are going to get rid of the filibuster, then pass a law that puts Snap and EBT into the same category as social security. It'll end the shutdown immediately because the dems won't have leverage.

Elderly and disabled get Medicare and medicaid. They are completely covered. Also there are supplemental programs that take care of stuff by taking government subsidies. I know, my mom is on one.

What aren't you getting here? They are cutting healthcare subsidies for medicare and medicaid from their other bills. This CR doesn't extend them and it actively DOES remove the ACA PTC's that bring premiums down. You can't be serious here. Maybe just quit lying?
