I like how you provide a great example of how to act like a perpetual pessimist and critic.
Have you ever visited Boston for a few days, then followed that up with a few days in NYC?
Neither suffer fools, and will tell you what they think off the cuff, at a moments notice.
There exists an opportunity to observe and learn how people view their world through the lens of population of humans per square mile. Queens NYC is a place that produces competitive individuals that have little time for developing anything less than "Type A" personality traits.
Make a quick decision, and move on. Live and let live. Get along and make due.
Don't suffer fools. They embellish, overestimate, and yes, often exaggerate.
(For your friends here that vote 'up' on all you blurt out, Exaggerate is another word for Bloviate) Not a great idea to take a New Yorker at their literal word for it.
For the previous POTUS NYC example, consider for a moment,
the political environment that existed in order to necessitate the need for
Teddy Roosevelt to start the Bull Moose Party. Teddy was weirdly New York City.
Teddy is also beloved by those that see his positive traits, look past his negative traits,
and lookey there on the cliff, Teddy's face is on Mount Rushmore.
Hamas is dead. The dirty deeds of October 7th will not happen again in Israel. Maybe Britain.
