Nope, he's just in the embarrassing position of defending white supremacy. White majority does not mean white supremacy. Also, many groups that are considered white now (Jews, Italian-Americans, et cetera) were not considered white by the white supremacists and have been targets, rather than supporters of white nationalist movements.

"white" nationalists =/= white-nationalists
