It was never legal to lynch anyone and you know that.
I'm old but I'm not that old. They weren't lynching when I was a baby. So, no, I don't remember lynching, I don't even remember Georgia, other than going back there on vacation.
Hey, does Puerto Rico have a spotless past? I'm just asking. I know virtually nothing about Puerto Rico. The only Puerto Rican I've ever met, that I remember, was my Spanish teacher in college. I wish I would have taken more Spanish classes that just the one semester. I took the class because of who I am married to and that's why I should have taken more classes and actually learned the language.
Well there's always Duolingo.
Anyway, my point is that people are people. Most are good but some are evil. So I sure that there have been evil things done in Puerto Rico. I'm just saying. So if you're going to play the guilt by association game again then you might want to look in a mirror first.
If I wanted to play the victim I could mention that in 1838 the governor of Missouri issued an extermination order against members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Missouri was a slave state and the Church was anti-slavery. So that and other reasons are why that order was issued. So we packed up and moved to Illinois. Then the people of Illinois started hating on us so we packed up and moved to Mexico. Then a year later the US annexed that part of Mexico and that land became Utah.
But I wasn't alive back then, just like you weren't alive when the KKK was lynch people.
