have one in my fridge still says "high fructose corns syrup", bought it yesterday. i dont think the billion dollar company is going to agree to the "deal" that doesn't benefit them, and has very little stakes

Yeah the sugar cost way to much to import to the Us

all this "deal" does is hurt coca cola, it makes their product much more expensive, and people who buy coke dont care if it has real sugar, and its not like the 5 people who actually start buying coke because it has real sugar arent going to make up the costs, because if they did coke woulda swapped already

Exactly so he just lied about a deal and it was complete bull.

Coke isn’t doing it because they know people will buy a 6 pack for 5 and drink the fructose but not buy it for 10 dollars and drink sugar which probably would taste the same

i actually have tried real sugar mtn dew along with regular and theres barely a difference, and im something called a super taster, which means i have more tastebuds per square inch tongue, and if im in the minority who actually taste at least the most minor differences in flavour and theres barely a difference, imagine the near non-existent difference for majority

I’m not sure if I’m a super taster or not doesn’t matter too much to me either way. I like Coke how it currently is. NOW if Trumps deal made Coke a lot healthier and changed it to have a better taste I might be able to get behind that if the cost wasn’t too bad.

But the “deal” he’s claimed to have made is not a real deal and has no gain to it

hey i have an idea that has benefits, make coke change to real sugar, but remove all tariffs on cane sugar that coke purchases. and if as a kid your parents put stuff like broccoli in your brownies and you could actually taste something was off about them than your probably a super taster (not a guarantee that you are but it can be a sign that you are)

My parents never did that lol but sometimes I can pick out what foods are in a soup or a dish by that.

Yeah let’s take those tariffs off because last I checked they don’t seem to be lowering taxes or decreasing inflation

Kind or irrelevant at this point. You can't live in denial forever. The Left is eating itself at this point. Most folks have moved on. Woke and identity politics are dead. Now, results matter.

That's what the left can't comprehend. Under Trump, the republicans have become very practical and team oriented. So we can like Trump, and still find fault with him. We're aware that nobody is perfect.

That's something that dem ethos doesn't allow. With the dems, you step away from the groupthink, and you're as bad as Trump. So for them, their ethos is pretty much only two things. 1. hate Trump; lie, cheat, steal or whatever it takes (including violence) to take him down, and 2. groupthink or you're out, and you're as bad as Trump.

Pretty sad, imo. And we the people are now growing more and more wise to them every day. Why else would our confidence level in them be at an all time low?

Hell, if Schumer, Pelosi, Obama, Swallwell, Schiff, or especially Biden told me today is Wednesday, I'd double-check a calendar before I would believe them. (today is Wed, btw...)
