All the pigs are all lined up, giving Trump all that he wants...

I think Trump is just a frontman....that the crazy GOPs made an offer to him. That he could do whatever he wants to earn money, build golf courses in the Middle East, take bribes from foreign leaders, sell bibles, shoes, coins, etc. The problem is the group more than the man. Trump is responsible for his decisions and behavior. He needs to be held accountable. But he's just the man in front of the curtain. There are strings being pulled from behind the curtain. There is no way that many Republicans would follow him now when they hated him in the first admin. Something just doesn't make sense.

True, it's far too easy to blame a symptom rather than the underlying disease. By that same token, if the disease is actively looking the other way while the symptom wreaks havok on the host... Personally, given that much of the Congressional GOP has been continuously in office for multiple terms, certain adversarial foreign nations and/or domestic players spend immense amounts of money on gathering blackmail-worthy information, I've suspicions that the reason the Congressional GOP isn't moving to claw back their constitutionally bestowed authority is that they're compromised and too weak, fearful of personal consequence to sacrifice what power they still have in favor of purging Trump from the Oval Office. That or he's just the hazmat suit they're wearing while they commit what evils they've always wanted but couldn't due to risk of repercussions.

He's clearly been very well trained since his first term, and this time he seems to know more what he's doing, as well as seems more self-assured.

Anyways, he's bulldozing through, while the carrion feeders tail him looking for what scraps they can take advantage of. He's plowing through shut doors, and they're surfing the wake.

And it isn't just the GOP, the notably silent Democrats are along for the ride & bucks as well.

Last time he wanted put soldiers on the Border, there was a big ruckus, and he was stopped.
This time barely a peep.

Last time he wanted to use military to quell riots, there was a big ruckus, and he was stopped.
This time barely a peep.

Last time he wanted to arrest political opponents, there was a big ruckus, and he was stopped. This time barely a peep.

Last time he wanted to warehouse illegal aliens in camps, there was a big ruckus, and he was stopped.
This time barely a peep.

Last time he wanted to go to war with Iran, there was a big ruckus, he was stopped.
This time barely a peep.

Last time he wanted to have a military parade, there was a big ruckus, he was stopped.
This time barely a peep.

Last time they were questions about emoluments clause violations, there was a ruckus, he was more or less stopped, at least officially or blatantly.
This time he actually had stands selling MAGA hats and other assorted accoutrements at the West Point Commencement Address and at his birthday military parade, and Jr is proudly bragging about deals for Trump™

Sure, Bernie and AOC at Coachella is something, and assorted TweeterszX from the occasional Democrat is something, but it is not the entire party as they twiddle their thumbs wondering where they went wrong.

Biden was a setup, he was supposed to lose in 2020, he was supposed to lose in 2024, but then Covid happened, and there was too much of a noise after that debate for them to proceed as planned, so he got bounced. It's all just too convenient and overtly fake. And now they're talking Newsom or Buttigieg in 2028. Why not Warren or de Blasio while they're at it? Trump's not stepping down at the end of his term anyways, and no one's going to do anything about it.

As for the other part, yeah they got the goods on plenty of them, so they tightened that noose on their wee nads if they doth protest too much,,,

Yup. Such is the danger of operating on an "it's just ___ being ___" policy.

The courts are hilarious - a 30 day injunction on the latest Constitution gutting EO pending a hearing, upon which they tell him that what he's doing is highly illegal and unconstitutional and that he should endeavor not to be such a naughty lad in the future, and then they let him continue with whatever illegality it is.

Ikr? I've lost track of how many rulings and court orders the administration's ignored but still no contempt findings.

They are trying to rename the Opera House after Melania. The Opera House is one area, not the entire Center. What's frustrating is it was included in a bill about the environment. The environment has nothing to do with renaming the Opera House...but this is how things are snuck into policy by tagging it with something more important.

Indeed. That's what Trump's Big Beautiful Bill was all about. A whole bunch of other stuff having nothing to do with the economy stuffed in it.

Yeah... we used to call it pork-barrel spending but that term doesn't get used much these days...

Someone had also introduced legislation to put him on a $250 bill. There's no such denomination and no living person is depicted on our currency.

I wouldn't consider putting him on currency even if he was dead.
