I don't get it. The word nationalism just means you value your country over others.

What has Karl Marx got to do with it? He's dead. And he wasn't a Christian anyway.

You're hijacking genuine Christianity for nationalistic ends.

You've hijacked Christianity for a political agenda to create political Christianism. That is nothing to do with actual Christianity as practised by hundreds of millions of genuine believers.

The "Christianity" you claim to practise in the US in support of Trump is not true Christianity.

What Church do you follow?

What Creed do you follow?

Who is your Patriarch or Archbishop? (Do you even have a church?)

Who are you accountable to? You're not Catholic and don't follow the Pope. You're not Orthodox and don't listen to any Orthodox Patriarchs or the Desert Fathers.

You're some kind of Protestant. But you have no Archbishop. You answer to no one?

Who do you answer to? What creed do you follow?

In what way are you are true actually Christians who are part of the global church?

Prove you're not just a political cult. CMV.

Or maybe Trumpism is a cult. CMV.

Which explains why you can espouse bigotry, racism, hatred, nonsense and all kinds of idiocy. Because you don't have the backing of a single real church and are not following the Gospel. It's a political cult. No different from ISIS. Yes, you're spiritual brothers. Nothing to do with the actual religion, but all about politics. So essentially you and ISIS are cousins.

Karl Marx propagated Marxism which called for creating division in a society to break down its norms and social fabric so the revolution could take hold. That’s what he’s got to do with it.

Actually sensible protestant here, our religion is more based on a direct relationship with God himself than through a church body(And that can be really dangerous if someone spins that relationship to further their own ideals which is what Christian Nationalism is caused by)

That's good to hear.

Although I'm still wondering how your version of US Christianity works without an apparent form of authority (or even clergy?), or connection to the global church. 🤔

Naturally, Protestants aren't going to see eye to eye with Catholics or Orthodox Christians and take advice from the Pope (or various Orthodox Patriarchs). Plenty of Protestants don't even consider Catholics as "true" Christians (and vice versa). But I think you still need some kind of organization and structure and official core beliefs and teachings. It's called organized religion, after all.

If it's not organized, it's all too easy for groups to fragment and fragment again and drift away from the essence of the religion (which can of course be debated endlessly and history has no shortage of bloodshed in the name of combatting "heresies") until you end up with what can essentially become political sects furthering their own ideals, as you say. And then of course they can get hijacked by populists or others.

I'm Presbyterian so we are basically a democracy. I'm still a teen so I don't know that much about the specifics.

Yes it is divisive rhetoric promoting exclusion by casting aspersions. In this case based on skin color and religion. The left needs racism, if there isn’t any they manufacture it. F the left.
