Because this stream is about liberal/progressive content. We don't approve/deny based on the known personal politics of any individual user. It is solely about the content.

So even the most conservative poster is welcome to post here so long as the content is appropriate for the stream. If we waited to see someone's personal politics, we'd never have new users.

Also, we regularly deny stuff from long-time users.

And I would fit the description of the more conservative posters - by content. But politics wise, my alliance is with the Democrat party - even if the leaders don't represent things I would like them to.

I hold too many Democrat ideals not to be a Democrat - but if I had to put myself on the spectrum... I'm middle of the road, choosing to believe in the best ideas from each side of the aisle. I just wish Washington DC had more people like me.

It's an amalgam of situations - but started at Office of the President Elect. Then transformed when Let's Go Brandon became a thing.

What do Democrats do wrong in ur opinion

They demonized people that didn't want to vaccinate during COVID. They demonized people who called the virus a China Virus. They empowered a President who took us backwards in race relations. They empowered a President that forced everyone to purchase a product under penalty of hefty fines. They supported undocumented unvetted migrants flooding the country. I believe they purposefully subverted the will of the American people via targeted ballot Harvesting & voter fraud & installed Joe Biden as President. They cheered BLM causing billions of dollars in property damages and theft - over media targeted coverage of crimes & over the death of a career criminal who got F'd over by the system while he was hopped on various substances. They never hold a Clinton to the same fire as any conservative - even when there was clearly wrong doing by a Clinton. They have been behind just about every movement to raise minimum wages - when history has proven the prices of goods and services also increases and/or it leads to workers getting less hours/staffing cuts. I always seem to pay more in taxes during years a Democrat is in office & I don't even make 6 figures. Locally - Democrat politicians and government employees couldn't get the citizens to vote for a Tax increase for the last 30 years - so they raised property values artificially & garnished taxes that way...which then also artificially increased the price of renting Vs purchasing. Democrats think that tax payers should subsidize Planned Parenthood even though a large portion of the tax payers have an issue with abortion morally/religiously/whateverly. Most Democrats refuse to accept the racist agenda that started planned parenthood. Democrats made it a thing to have an entire month dedicated to LGBTQ+ Pride - but would flip their lids if people wanted to make a Straight Pride Day. Many sitting Democrat (& Republican but less of them) Congress folks in charge of prosecuting Insider Trading are clearly doing it. Most modern Democrats are pushing a Socialist Agenda even though history has proven it's not a great viable form of government (you don't see migrants illegally lining up to get into many socialist countries).

Actually, since I joined the 2016, I have not encountered one single Republican. Not a one. There may have been a couple of middle schoolers claiming to be or will be or something like that one day, but that's it. There are no Republicans here on this site. In fact, they voted for Obama, they voted for Hillary, they voted for Kennedy, John F, too. Nothing says Obama supporter like someone who said they would have voted for the guy who wants to remove his citizenship and deport him to Guantanamo but couldn't because they were busy voting for Hillary instead.

I Also believe in feeding the less fortunate (that are citizens) through taxes. Housing the less fortunate (that are citizens) through taxes. I believe in the separation of church and state - and have left a church because they loopholed that by having a guest speaker tell the congregation who to vote for. I was way ahead of the curve on legalizing Cannabis - even when I didn't use it. I believe that Gay Couples should have the right to marriage and was way ahead of that movement. While morally - I don't agree with abortion, I do think there are circumstances that make it the right call. I believe that healthcare is a right all citizens should have access to, but I don't agree that it should be forced upon people like it is now. I believe in the idea of NATO - but don't agree on how the U.S. has been footing the bill of most of the items within NATOs reach. I believe that Diversity is important in the Work Force, but I think it should be natural & a reflection of the community - not forced via DEI initiatives. I believe that there are Unions that are essential in some industries - but also recognize some Unions are taking advantage of the workers through Union Dues & bureaucracy. I am very much a Make Peace Not War "hippy" as Democrats should be - but modern Democrats don't seem to be that way anymore.

I voted for Al Gore, I voted for Obama, & locally - have voted for Democrats who have actually produced results. I did not Vote for Hillary Clinton though - because she's just terrible. Locally, The schools in my area are beautiful & all new - with exception to one that's slated to be rebuilt. It wasn't folks with the R next to their name that did that.
