Since you're parsing words, Saudi Arabia isn't Russia's largest arab ally...Syria is...was...that is until Israel bombed the shit out of it. No where does the meme say "Iran". The time period implies it....fair enough. Next time I'll just say "moooslims." Either way...Israel is bombing the shit out of Caucasian, moooslim dominated allies of Russia...And Russia is too busy FAFO in Ukraine to even do a thing about it. Perfect timing on Israel's part. Almost like the whole last two years is one elaborate plan working itself out. But you guys keep focusing on the lil stuff while ignoring the gist of the meme. Much like your reply to the comment above...The dude is referring to Putin's facial expression, whereas you're all folded in on yourself trying to make it about the verbiage. Next thing, you'll be saying this meme is somehow put out there by an alt account trying to address you specifically cause you're so important. lol

Thing is, the meme refers to Israel smashing Russia's largest "Arab ally". That would presumably be Syria (?). Israel struck Syria but it was not solely responsible for toppling the Assad regime; that was a coalition of countries.

Unless the meme is referring to Hezbollah, which Israel has struck and significantly weakened (although not eliminated entirely). Hezbollah was/is allied/aligned with Russia, but Hezbollah is not a country (although it can still technically be classed as a Russian ally, but not a formal one as far as I understand).

The US's largest Arab ally in the region would be Saudi Arabia. I'm not aware that Israel has recently "smashed" Saudi Arabia in air strikes either.

And Iran isn't an Arab country (although it has a minority Arab population, but that only constitutes about 2–3% of Iran's population of around 90 million). And Israel has just attacked Iran which is this week's big news story. So if it's not referring to Iran, what is it referring to? 🤔 It's not 100% clear and details matter.

Hezbollah is not a place...Syria is. Israel bombed Hezbollah in Syria, Russia's largest Arab ally in the region. Saudi Arabia is more allied with the US than Russia, but has ties to similar interests and rides the metaphorical fence. The meme lumped Iran in with the rest, which was technically incorrect...something I acknowledged, while at the same time pointing out that it was actually correct if one ignores today's headlines. The thrust of the meme is the same regardless. It could've been made a couple months ago and been correct, but is still technically correct now as well. Yes, Iran is a Persion nation, apart from the others. Also, yes...Persians and Arabs share the same lineage and are both Caucasian cultures. The primary difference between the cultures is language based, not genetic. The whole point here is that Russia has put themselves into a quandary, barely able to fight a war on one front, while Israel and the West, it seems, are taking advantage of the situation and handling some business. Syria is and was Russia's largest Arab ally, then and today. It has been nullified though. No rockets are coming from Russian and Iranian proxies, as they are in the Find out stage of what happens when you push too far. Those pointing out technical issues are, as usual, ignoring the intent of the meme, which was to poke fun at Putin for falling into a trap he dug himself.

Thanks for clarifying, mate. I guess you mean Syria/Hezbollah then. It's just that given the timing, it's understandable that people will interpret your meme to refer to Iran.

Iran has a lot of very diverse ethnic groups and languages. I don't know enough to comment.

I do agree though that Putin is not exactly in a position to lecture the world on human rights and international law.
