My child needs to be held back (not a trouble maker, just lazy), and im practically begging for them to, but the school system is literally refusing. They say he can do extra work to catch up. Um...he's not even doing the work to keep up, and you expect him to do more? And how exactly do I motivate him to do more? I'm not gonna lie and pretend a good job awaits him if he just does well in school and college.
I just want him to graduate (late would be perfectly fine with me) so he can join a trade union or something.
