Lol that's funny. And, 86 has always meant "get rid of/throw away." It doesn't mean "kill." Good Lord such freaking drama.

Not to mention there were t-shirts being sold printed with "86 46," and none of these dunderheads were crying about that back then.

If it wasn't for hypocrisy, they wouldn't have anything to say. About anything.

According to UrbanDictionary.com ->

86'd
Share definition
To get rid of, originally for killing someone. The phrase "80 miles out and 6 feet under" was reserved for someone who had to dig their own grave 80 miles from civilization and then get shot execution-style. All terms for 86'd originated from this, be it alcohol or eliminating.
It's supposed that Jimmy Hoffa was 86'd under the endzone of Giants Stadium.

According to UrbanDictionary.com

"86'd

In the early days of the Remington and Royal typewriters, when paper was expensive and the results messy, overtyping to block out errors (e.g.: old prices on the daily menu or items out of stock) was common. Repeated typing
of the the digits 86 over a word would cover almost any previously typed word. The X was also used, and when you either typed "X" or "86" over a word the resulting edit was always called an "86" and anything so blotted out was "86'd". That's the connection with Delmonico's, and other downtown NYC eateries where the menus were printed for the day or week and had to be "overtyped" to eliminate items off the menu.
The raw oysters were 86'd by the time we got seated for dinner."

....... aaaaand a bunch of others

Anyone can post anything they want on that site.

Ever hear the reference you posted anywhere on this planet including the plethora of movies about Jimmy Hoffa, Mafia, Westerns, or even Batman as part of the 20-minute execution process of the day that the Joker had created for him and Robin and told him in excruciating detail what was going to happen and that it would end up with him getting 86'd?
Neither have I.

We both have heard the bar term though. The original restaurant one? Not so much, but that one's actually documented in printin the 1930s. Doesn't mean the term didn't exist prior to that, but the bottom line is, Trump is simply just not that old, let alone old enough to remember gunfighters at the OK Corral talking about doing it.

I have no idea why I sill have five Kirk templates from back in my early days. It was during my Kirk phase, but that didn't last too long. I can't even stomach Shatner.

To boldly go where no Kirk has gone before.

And yes, I also went through a Don Knotts phase as well back then, this being another template of mine. But at least Knotts is bona fide.

My feeling is that one of these days one of these "space tourism" flights will go seriously wrong and, in a worst- case scenario, people will die.
2 ups, 1mo
Yup.

Or maybe there'll be a glitch in one of their fake flights like that last one with a fakeonauts looking like there was an explosion and they did die or something and then they're going to have to kill them like in Capricorn One.

Google Translate has its limitations. But as we say over here in Muh'Merica, que sera, c'est la vie,,,

Thanks for playing.

In summary, the command “86” is a vital part of the communication protocol within the FBI-HRT sniper operations. It encapsulates the trust, training, and critical decision-making that defines high-pressure law enforcement scenarios. As we delve into the complexities of tactical operations, it becomes clear that codes like “86” serve as more than just a simple signal; they represent a comprehensive system designed to ensure the safety of all involved while allowing for decisive action when necessary.

The role of communication in these scenarios cannot be overstated. It is the backbone of effective operations, enabling snipers and their commanders to work in unison, ultimately aiming to preserve lives and resolve dangerous situations. Understanding how these systems operate provides valuable insight into the world of tactical law enforcement and the meticulous processes that guide them.

When an FBI-HRT (Hostage Response Team) sniper is on an operation and has his scope on a potential target, do you know what his commander does to release him to take the shot?

He sends him a message:

“86”

So methinks Comey knew what he was saying

OOPS

your ignorance is showing again.
