I do not question the strength of your belief, only the level of application in this context, because I think you've been quite rude for no apparent reason, both to me and to others here. Was the Hunter Biden laptop real, or was it Russian Disinformation?

Frankly I don't care enough to have an opinion. There's thoughts on policy, and there's thoughts on leaders. I believe Joe Biden was senile the moment he stepped foot in the White House for the first time, and if Trump wasn't senile by 2020, he certainly is now. This does not reflect my political beliefs. I believe Bill Clinton was a perfectly decent president, but also a horrible person.

The Hunter Biden laptop being real or fake doesn't matter, because anyone with a lick of sense could see Biden was incompetent. I've already made my mind up. I don't need convincing.

It's funny you bring up Bill Clinton. He was one of the "modern" presidents who was given the pass by his own political party that his personal behavior was acceptable to ignore because his political policies (and party control of the office) were too important to squander.

That shift was what freed up enough Republicans to do the same and elect Trump.

That mindset was on blatant display with Joe Biden.

Do you believe he was even in charge of the policy decisions he allegedly signed into law? That is where people truly should begin to care.

The policies that Joe Biden did sign were largely what people expected from him. He didn't campaign on staying in Afghanistan, and rejoining the WHO and Paris were not unexpected. America's highways in a state of disrepair? $1trn. He didn't rock the boat. I mean, he basically did what people thought Biden would do. A series of moderate policies that didn't really garner much opposition from his party obviously points to him not having much control. Yet, his pardoning of Hunter Biden speaks to him retaining control, as does the strong stance he took nearly immediately after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, both of which have seen pushback from the party and the left in general.

Frankly though, I think people knew what they were voting for in 2020. Everyone knew Biden wouldn't be a radical and that he would toe the party line. And that's pretty much what he did
