Its a good thing this guy wasn't a practicing Christian who was minding his own business. The Democrats would be making just as much effort...in the opposite direction..
If all the Dims in congress would go, and stay there for a year or so, then I'd be in favor of we the people funding their boondoggle. But if they're coming back to vote, then they should be paying for their own vacation.
If anything those who have gone to El Salvador could technically get into big trouble. They are not official ambassadors or diplomats, do not work for the State Department or Diplomat Corp, and are not the president and yet are behaving as if they do have the authority to act in an official ambassadorial/diplomatic situation as the aforementioned position and organizations are the only ones who have that duty and pleasure.
One of these days one of these pinheads will find out the hard way they don't have diplomatic immunity like real ambassadors/diplomats and the president do as they are arrested by another country or the moment they get back to the US for being fake ambassador/diplomat of the USA. Another possible punishment is an US president getting their passport yanked and nullified while being declared persona non grata.
