Well, it depends on your definition. Earth is not dying as it is not a living organism. But, the Moon, which affects the Earth's axis from going all over the place, is moving away from the Earth, and eventually, no keep the acus in place. Also, the Earths' core, which affects the Earth's rotation and magnetic field, has slowed down so much that is now going backward. At an extreme, our twin sister planet Venus' rotation is so slow that a day is longer than its year(why Venus is so f-up). Astronomy is an observation science, and by observing what happened to Venus and Mars, with what currently is happening in our planet, none of it being from human reason, the planet Earth is heading the same path in a few billion years, BUT we are now feeling the effects. Also climate change is a constant for planet Earth, from its very begining, it is normal.
