Am I the only one who notices the Democrats are a bunch of hypocrites?

By opposing the funding CR.

Because you’re the minority party, it means that more people think like us than you. So, what you think and want is not what the majority thinks and wants. Let that sink in.

Just because the Republicans currently hold a slim majority, that doesn't mean the Democrats have to fall in line and rubber stamp anything and everything. They were elected by a majority in their districts.

The Democrats were elected by a left leaning population. They have to represent that population.
Which, again I will remind you, are not Republicans.

So, why should they vote for a bill their constituents won't want passed? And if a majority party can't get it together to pass a funding bill, why should the Democrats vote for it? What's in that bill that their constituents want?

Take a moment and consider that. Let it sink in, if you will.

CR was passed with zero Dem votes. All Dems voted against keeping the government funded, after making hay for the past month about DOGE cutting waste.

I think stringing along CRs is stupid. Pass a damn annual budget. I am mad about this. CRs have been the funding vehicle since Obama and Dems had all the power.

The CRs are because the Republican party. They happen during the times the Republicans control the House. Why? Because they can't get their shit together to pass an actual budget. The Republicans have spent the last 2 decades recruiting people for office who refuse to compromise. Even when the party is in power, they refuse to compromise with each other.

So, as a result, you get these continuing resolutions and the need to depend on a minority party to pass any legislation. Except that if they do that, they get unelected by their districts because they compromised with the Dems.

Because Democrats won't vote for a bill unless they get some things they want.

So, all partisan snark aside, if you are frustrated by this lack of ability to govern, stop voting for people who refuse to compromise. This is a democracy. You will never get 100% of the things you want. But you can get some of the things.
