If manipulation was a sin (and religion wasn't grownups playing pretend in earnest), the whole of Christian leadership would be frying when they die.

There's a clip in the documentary Religulous (I think that's where I saw it) where one of those sleezy preachers convinces everyone in the congregation to throw their medication on the floor during a sermon. Wrecklessly irresponsible in the case of people taking heart medication, and I bet that piece of shit collected all the oxys and norcos for himself when the show was over.
