I trip um up by inventing a book of the Bible, a fake quote and asking them if they read it. It always works because they have no idea what the Bible actually says.
The ones who do believe that Jesus really existed think that all he was was a “peace & love” hippie type. Those crazy “He Gets Us” commercials try to convey that message.
Lucifer - the first Marxist and Snowflake. He believed he could do better than God and deserved the Throne. Tried a revolt (Marxism) and is still complaining about the loss by tempting modern story tellers to depict him as some kind of tragic figure(Snowflake).
hrm. . .still don't see the peace & love in overturning tables and chasing people away with a whip. . .then there is The Book of Revelation. And all that Old Testament wrath. Also The Son. Father Son and Holy Spirit do want us to be forgiven and redeemed. . .BUT. . .that doesn't mean they won't crush whole civilizations if they have to.
I don’t see it either. They only choose the parts of The Bible that they can agree with. That pretty much reduces it to the size of a pamphlet. They have their own bibles printed up with all of the disagreeable parts changed to things that they can agree with. The LGBQT+ “religious” people have their own version that condones all of that sort of behavior.
